In 1985 my husband made a comment to me that some day he would like "one of them Clyde's" as he watched the usual sports on TV. Having had horses all my life and wanting him to enjoy it as much as myself, I started to look for the perfect horse for him. Low and behold I found the mare of our dreams right here in Michigan, her name was PTS Nobleman's Abracadabra and she was one of only two Clydesdale embryo transfers in the United States. Abby was the start of a beautiful love affair with the Clydesdales. Just like potato chips one is never enough, and soon our farm was all Clyde's with one quarter horse for good luck!!
Sugar Bush Hills was the home of Greendykes Sherman a Scottish imported stallion we purchased as a yearling. Sherman (AKA Tank) has produced many champion horses. Other stallions that have stood on the farm is the tremendous stallion Greendykes Jet Setter, the much publicized Mythology's Bellerophone Ian, and Solomon's Colonel just to name a few. Greendykes Jet Setter produced several top winners including Sugar Bush Hills Pace Setter, champion stallion. Sugar Bush Hill Boot-Scoot-N-Boogie who was champion gelding at 13 years old - in the 2004 at the Calgary Stampede. Greendykes Sherman has produced many show and breeding horses and the following is just a few of them.

Color is never the issue here, but pedigree, type and temperament is what we breed for. We breed Clydesdales for halter and hitch as well as riding them. If you are looking for foundation mares or stallions to add to your farm or show horses to get you in the show circuit or just want to enjoy a friend, then Sugar Bush Hill is the place to come to.
